Do you have a children’s menu?

Yes, we do have a children’s menu. We also have a range of food options on our standard menus that we are sure younger people will enjoy. Some smaller portions are available on request.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Yes – gift vouchers are available for both the hotel and restaurant. Browse our available gift vouchers online or, alternatively, gift vouchers are available from the hotel reception.

What time do you serve breakfast?

Breakfast is served daily at the following times:

Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 9am
Saturday – Sunday: 8:00am – 10am
Bank Holiday Mondays: 8:00am – 10.00 am

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is between 2pm and 10pm.

We request that you kindly check-out by no later than 11:00am. We reserve the right to make additional charges for unarranged late checkouts.

If you would like to request an early check-in or late check-out, please call us on 01900 61443 where we will do our best to accommodate you. If your room is unavailable outside the standard check-out and check-in times, you are welcome to enjoy a drink or snacks in our welcoming lounge.

Are you dog-friendly?

We are unable to accept dogs either in the hotel or the restaurant. However, should the weather permit, we do allow dogs on the terrace.

How can I cancel a booking or reservation?

Please contact us on 01900 61443 as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change a booking or reservation. Bookings made via our website may be cancelled by clicking on the cancellation link on your confirmation email. Cancellations may be subject to charges.

If you have made your reservation through Booking.com, Expedia, or any other third-party booking agency, you should cancel your reservation through them.

Are electric car chargers available?

Yes, we have 6 EV charging stations in our car park. These are available on a first-come first-served basis. We request that you respect other EV drivers and only use these spaces when you need to charge your vehicle. Guests with electric vehicles wishing to use our charging ports should download the FUUSE app.

Can I hold my wedding at the Melbreak?

We are able to hold wedding breakfasts for small parties. However, as we do not have a stand alone event room, we are unable to have evening receptions with entertainment.

Can I hold a funeral tea at the Melbreak?

Yes, we can host funeral teas, memorials and wakes. Your funeral director can make these arrangements for you or enquire directly for further information.

Can I book a private party?

We can host parties and gatherings but please be aware that, as we only have one restaurant, we cannot always guarantee restaurant exclusivity. Please enquire directly and we can go through possible options for your event.
